I’m Alice, but growing up, my mum used to call me “Ali-che,” which inspired the name for this blog. Sew Aliche is where I’ll share my DIY projects, from sewing to crafts to home interiors.
I started sewing in 2017 while in medical school, and it quickly became my creative escape. Since then, I've used sewing as a way to unwind, learn, and express myself. In this space, I’ll share everything I’ve learned through trial and error, from sewing pattern reviews to tutorials, DIY projects, and plenty of mistakes along the way.

My First Ever Sewing Project, Circa 2017
It’s only fitting that for my first blog post, I talk about my very first sewing project. A lot has changed since that day, but my passion for sewing has only grown. My first project? Pyjama bottoms made from cotton poplin and stretch fabric, which turned out... less than perfect. Learn from my mistakes (because, trust me, there were many!) and see how I turned my beginner mishaps into lessons that shaped my sewing journey.
